From $20M Surplus to Deficit —
Time for Real Change in District 5
In 2016, Clyde Clapp led a historic grassroots effort to stop a proposed asphalt plant that would have devalued 5,000 surrounding homes, polluted our air and water, and brought zero local jobs. He organized the recall of the sitting supervisor, went door-to-door, and was elected to serve District 5.
During that same fight, the current Supervisor sat on the Planning Commission and actively supported the asphalt plant. Clyde has always put District 5 families first — never special interests or insiders.
Water rates are crushing families. Roads are a hot mess. Taxes aren't working for you.
